I do. By definition, a real Christian would follow the Bible, which as we agree is sexist. If a Christian disregards the Bible then they are not real Christians. Atheists don't have a rulebook they need to follow, so not all of them are.

Atheists do not have a rulebook that advocates sexism. Lots of atheists support gender equality.

Christianity, meanwhile, has a bible thats full of sexism, and is frequently in the news for not letting females join the clergy or allowing them control of their own bodies.

It is not sexist to disapprove of the methods of a group. My problem is, broadly, with their methods and their beliefs, not that they are women.

They have books, but no one set or "bible" as such (for example, different Wiccan groups/individuals use different texts and ideas to base their religion off of). There's no fixed of set of holy books like with mainstream Christianity.

Also, a lot of Wiccan texts were written in the modern era and don't contain a lot of the bronze age stuff that the Islamic/Judaic/Christian texts do (granted, they are still full of bullshit but it's modern bullshit which is easier to follow).

Cornered, hotel, 4am, coming back to his room? It's a vaguely unsettling proposition because she's already sort of trapped, strange place, presumably not many escape routes. I think a lot of men don't realize the calculations that are constantly going through a woman's mind about her level of safety.

Beyond that, being constantly reminded that you are a sexual object can be old, even if you find the situation perfectly safe. It just kind of sucks not to be a person sometimes, but just a thing to be fucked.

I guess I'll have to forfeit the argument cause I don't get the female perspective. If I had been in her shoes I would have been like "no thanks" walked off the elevator and that would have been that. Maybe I would posted something like "lol check out this lame pickup line" but in all likelihood I never would have given it much thought, probably not enough to make a post about it.
