I got a new mic headset, and when I try to plug the jacks into the connectors it just keeps going wild, working for half a second and then stopping and then working again. This results in really poppy sound and transmission and also a notification bubble popping up saying "You just plugged a device in" and "You just unplugged a device" constantly, it's really annoying. But I've noticed that if I only plug in the mic jack or the sound jack, then it works fine. It's only when both are plugged in that this starts to happen. Is it the headphones themselves? My drivers are up to date and this doesn't happen with any of my other headsets.

Ugh, how disgustingly mainstream! Why would you even use it???

I was mocking @408,314 (C). There's nothing wrong with using Windows.
