Topic: I've been kicked out of my fucking university thanks to a certain someone who posts here
Anonymous A started this discussion 15 years ago#2,703
A certain scam organization that is commonly "advertised" here got me kicked out of my masters program. I had posted on that organization's forum and made a few jokes about its administration. Apparently I hit a soft spot, big time. Next thing I know one of the organization's associates (no, I'm not naming names Eels) had used my IP whois to contact my university. A few fake logs were sent and next thing I know, I receive a letter telling me that I've been expelled.
Fucking great.
So that's it, motherfuckers? Some random person from the internet "hacked" you several months ago and you and your associate decide to retaliate on someone who is in no way related?
I've already contacted my lawyer. We'll see who the court of law thinks should be expelled from academic progress.

The fact of the matter is, you were spamming DM's forum, and you were using your University's internet service to get around IP bans, and now you've paid the consequences for it.

I've in fact never spammed. I make fun of the administration, and joke around, yes, but that's part of free speech.
And as far as I've seen, none of my replies were ever deleted, just censored by editing. Hardly spam, in any sense.
Just to let others know, falsification of documents is a federal crime. That's not even mentioning the libel and defamation. My lawyer's going to have a field day. They literally dream of cases like this.

I supposedly "spammed" the forum. What actually happened: I make fun of Matt and Israel.
The straw that apparently "broke the camel's back" was when I posted his real name. Immediately after I said that, he replies that he's contacted my university. The thread's probably still up on GHOUL where that happened.

Well take that up with Eels and your university. Something led him to believe that all the IPs that were related to your University were being used to bot the board. Then, whether you were joking about it or not, you took credit for it.

Well, I do empathize with you, in that university is important and it can take you places, in life.
Had you previously been in trouble with the university? It’s odd that they’d outright kick you out, rather than just ending your network privileges, first.

We are a terrible people, you should know that by now.
Also, I have a hard time believing that they'd just throw you out head-first without you having accumulated a list of infractions beforehand.

Where did I ever take credit? I've never joked about spamming.
I'm tired of talking. If the posters of minichan have any questions, feel free to ask--that's fine. If Matt or Israel have any questions, it will have to be through my lawyer, who will be contacting them shortly.

Thanks. I've never had any problems with the university. But the administration at my university has always been trigger happy, and readily believe anything negative about their students. In the end, I'll have the last laugh after this is settled through my legal counsel.

If this actually happened, there are plenty of people here (including myself) who can testify to the fact that Eels and Matt are sociopathic trolls with a long history of false accusations.

As has been stated before, you used the University's infrastructure to evade bans, which means that you associated "chan bullshit" (trolling chans and evadin bans on chans) with the University.

I just never got round to changing it back after the crash or death or whatever it was that caused it to go away. Only GHOUL still had a copy of it, very lucky.
We do. The email I received back was very sharply worded though. "We do not plan to offer IPv6 support at this time" or something. Makes me wonder what I'm supposed to do on world IPv6 day. I'll probably just wank all day.

Look at the pile of money you will win - split of course with lawyers for wrongful expulsion - AND Trust me on this - if this is really what happened (after a phone call to Cousin Lawyer (conference with everyone in his office) They said in unison - You can get a firm to take the case on contingency without a penny spent on your part. Firm deals with two Major Universities in my city - has taken on cases exactly like yours and you need to hit Google, and do your own search to ease your stress.
DO NOT pick a attorney (firm) that is without a track record on winning cases like this. Make them prove it to you!!!
Now consider yourself lucky re future pay off. No clue what you were going for with your Masters? Hopefully its something society currently needs?
I know someone and so do YOU - Who has his new Masters, who is now working for minimum wage with it- and 4 and 7 and 9 and 11 all the way back 19 years is still working for minimum wage or just pennies above.
And is he going to find it easy to move on, because there is a new dream team working on helping him get a serious teaching position at an University. In fact they have taken a lack luster document that he produced a bit ago and have, with the help of a PhD with a background in writing such documents--
to INCLUDE what he left out. His Expertise in Plagiarism. No one can deny that Matt Miller has expertise in this subject. Perhaps more then anyone on this forum or TC - Anon-talk you name it.
Oh forgot to add that the help team has sent out copies to a slew of institutions and the document includes a statement, carefully worded that says its from a representative organization. Organized to help those who have an outstanding talent. Team has legal the support from Grad students from three Universities just to be sure no one ends up ----well nuff said eh

I specifically asked what I can post publicly. Since this is such a clear cut case, what I've revealed in this thread will have no effect on the trial

Feel free to direct them to your own institution, they'll be as much help as mine or even Matt's, given this is a civil case.
You do know THEY cracked almost all of his email accounts. Idiot is not very careful when it comes to using a unique and difficult password. AND AND I LOVE It nor had a thing to do with it - Someone got close enough r/t r/l to sync to a device at his tiny hovel and pull down everything on it. He admits the Ghost thing is just one more Schick. Is there really anyone left on the net that falls for his games? Yes I know he has his followers who are as sick as he is.

I do not know the details, as I was not involved, but I am very sorry for this misfortune. As a victim of this kind of stuff myself, I know how much it sucks. I do want you to know, though, that we are not out to get you or anyone. However, people have been messing with my IRL for months now, and I take all threats and RT seriously. However, as I do not have the details of your case, I am NOT saying you did that. I just do not know. I will ask.
You must be kidding? Are you also a clone of Matt Miller?
Take the money and run as far as you can. Liberal arts is just another form of Masturbation. In this economic environment, your degree is worth as much as Matt Millers. After completion you will be eligible for minimum wage restaurant work. You will have to compete with illegal aliens. They work harder and need the work more then you.
The Liberal arts degree is good for wrapping up fish from the fish market. Just ask Matt Miller.

That really sucks that they think they can throw away all of your hard work because of some trivial infraction like that. Try to contact a media outlet, OP, many people don't know how screwed up the academic disciplinary system is. They basically operate like a dictatorship, blowing away people's futures to make some vapid statement.

> Science degrees are worth just as much.
Was/is that a joke? All of my clients - a list of 7 and sometimes 9 all have internes from local Universities. All hire the most qualified interns upon graduation. Before full time consulting ...prior company is currently hiring those with Math/Science degrees. Biology aka drugs is also a big biz and they are expanding and hiring Science types.

I've majored in psychology and then engineering. The psychology majors were people who valued lifestyle or enjoyment over long term investment, or had switched over from more difficult majors. When I moved on to engineering, my study time increased from 2-4 hours a week of light reading and writing to 20-30 hours a week of working problems.
It pays off, I can make $60k a year immediately after I graduate, compared to $35K a year with psychology.
I never went into Engineering for the money - in fact my first offer - I honest to God said "That Much!" HR manager told me to never ever say anything like that again. I got into electronics as hobby, so for me they were paying me for stuff I was doing for just fun and paying to buy parts and test equip etc - And I was pulled in way prior to completing degree -- very cool because company paid 100% for all classes - needed or not - Salary and UCLA and USC was a very cool deal.
Just in from a very Foggy surfing morning with not even a BLIP of added action from disaster in Japan.
And I picked yours to reply2 - I found law classes really interesting and chose law as my minor at UCLA. STOPPED after two full years because - I learned just enough to know to NEVER EVER attempt to use common sense in my life with regards to the LAW.
USA Laws so damn complex and no relationship to common sense. Attorneys as a group are very smart. You go in and ask for help.
They in return may have no clue about your legal issue. They put on a smile and act competent and take your money and hit the books and become instant experts, charging you for their education. Of course they are going to suck at solving your problem.
You on the other hand benefit, because you will help buy them their bigger boat. A feel good kind of thing. So yes I use attorneys of all kinds, including those in my family. I just make sure each one has expertise on my problem, with a track record they can prove! Even with that THEY can fuck up. Story for some other time about how that fuck up, turned to my advantage - TV Famous Lawyer fucked up - I However was on other side and took advantage.

Well I C my quality reply as well. One does wonder how someone currently studding the lawn has tyme to pull up such old topics but hey that was fun 2C again. One day one might spill some beans re PhD fail @a school & how it sent someone to be flooded in China sewers.
