The earbuds actually have a sort of flat-ish response. I can hear mids and bass notes for once. SE215s are fucking awesome. Made of teflon, so they won't break in three fucking months like every other goddamn earbud on this planet.

In ear is retarded unless you spend a small fortune on decent monitors. I would suggest closed cans for you, so other people don't have to listen to your pile of wank piece of shit music taste. Open cans are IMHO the best for normal listening. If you insist on in-ear headphones you should buy a pair decent Sennheisers or EarSonics. If anything the SE215 needs a little amping for best results.

In-ear headphones are very convenient and a lot more discreet than over-the-ear headphones. But if I had to go with over-the-ear headphones, I'd probably go with HD555 and convert them to HD595.

two-year warranty is the minimum here i think. i am probably going to buy the urbanears bagis if they sound allright but i haven't found any store that sells them yet.
