The lie that if you made just TWO more dollars and you earned $8,924 that year would make you lose 15% of your income rather than 10% of your income and 15% of the income you made over the bracket. That is just lies and FUD spread by the rich to get the conservative voters to get them to vote for flat-rate taxes that would fuck over the poor and the middle class worse than the system we have now.
