The grill clearly evokes the first generation Mustang grill, but without being tacky-retro like the 2006-13 Mustang. I'm quite happy to see the Mustang move forward again -- I hate retro cars. The middle third is still a homage to the '60s Mustang, but overall I'm happy to see the Mustang move into the 21st century. I think it's a powerful, svelte design and I'd like to have one.
