im running ubuntu 13 on it now, hw acceleration is working, removed googles crippled boot crap so there's no dev-mode delay and sad boot screen anymore

for $249 this is a pretty nice machine, and totally silent
it just has a little tablet motherboard and a big battery
no fans

with some luck the folks over at xda will be able to port over android and windows rt
they should both run fine on this hardware (dual core cpu, quad core mali 60x gpu)

But that processor is generating SOME heat. If I were you, I would mod it to install a cooling fan.
