I think homosexuality is caused by being attracted emotionally and/or sexually to the same sex. If there is a nurture cause, it probably goes way beyond just abuse.

Nowhere in it does it state "Chemical imbalances don't cause depression." All it says is that current antidepressants are not significantly more effective at curing depression than placebos. To prove that depression is caused by chemicals rather than depression produces chemicals, someone would need to inject or feed chemicals to people without their awareness (placebo effect) and then have them become depressed. And this would need repeatable results.
