Just to give you all a recap of the past 4 months:
> december: I want to start skateboarding again > buy a new deck for $100, barely skate
> january: omfg I need new poweriser springs so I can practice more!!1 I'm gonna be sick at these!! > spend $120 on new springs, still suck, lose interest
> february: I'm gonna comissiona a fursuit this year fuck yeah! > get all hyped up for like 2 weeks, find out it's (pretty much) financially unfeasible for now
> march: damn, I wish I had a poly evolver keyboard
Can someone explain what's happening here? Is it my ADD?
Load back pack for 3 days food and comfort. Hike Big Tujunga trail/canyon up up up and at end cross country to Gleason Mtn. Bears come down all the time for food in your old hood. Found in pools in backyards as they swim and drink from 6packs found in frigs

I like to play guess the movie, when I read your claims. I sometimes pretend that what happens in movies happened to me in real life too!

If I put it out there that way? There is a rush but not during the steps up the climb...OK sure as a difficult move is executed. The endorphin build up is a rush and that along with adrenalin can be deadly.
The deal is - I used to do all that hardware climbing for years n years. But if you have done that? You know about the test fall one does at the base to verify hardware. That puts stress on the spine.
I have some curvature and used to have back issues. All gone with lots of work and of course care. Doc said stop the hardware so I moved to only free climbing. Its sure a lot more simple sans all the load and tyme to deal with it.
Free climbing is more brain power then with hardware. Kinda chess game. You look n study n study n look at alternate moves then move - Anyone can do it. I started b4 all those climbing walls to gain skills.
But consider this - Ages b4 you or I lived lots of our ancestors were free climbing. B4 Hardware that was the way everyone climbed. Its not a new invention. It does NOT take muscle power. At tymes sure I wish I had more but then it hits me that pulling UP UP Ain't proper protocol.
Bears are sweat producing. Lions not so much cause one never gets that close to see up close. However I once was side by side or one behind me for hours n hours n I had no clue. Good it must have not been hungry.
I even think I once passed out when a bear was coming directly towards me as I was trying to get to sleep in my sleeping bag - just a matt on the ground at edge of cliff. Woke up with someones ice chest at edge of my haid. Bear was rolling it to bust open for jar of honey.
Looking back I have a few animal encounters and all make for great memories. One makes me look truly stoooooopid.

Posting like that doesn't make you a free climber. It makes you a sad old man making a fool of himself.

Syntax claims that he invented hunting when he first realised that animals be systematically killed for a steady source of food. He shared this discovery with his close friend chief Uk Urr, making hunting early man's most plentiful source of food.
