Probably, but one or two prions won't cause any harm as long as they don't come into contact with any of the proteins in your nervous system. It's rare, but not unheard of, for symptoms to show up decades after consuming contaminated meat because there's always that chance that the prion does eventually find its way to the nervous system, and it creates a cascade effect from there.
