If in the news it were uncovered they were capable of complex language, would you feel they were on par with humanity?

I see dolphin's just about every morning and some evenings. I do try and communicate with them. If only I could get total close and reach out and touch but so far no go. They do get close. Always seem to be very happy and there sure is a lot for them to eat in my Ocean a Blue
