Murder by Proxy: How America Went Postal
So far it's looking at early post office shootings and how abusive workplace practices may have contributed to them. A very different look at mass shootings than I've seen before. It's on Netflix Instant.

Like they just stopped talking about post office shootings, and started talking about how fast the machines are and how there are too many letters and it is very stressful.

yes but I mean, I don't think carpal tunnel syndrome is the problem. They just started interviewing this one random lady who had gotten an injury as a postal worker but never like, saw a shooting or anything. She just wanted to complain about her wrists hurting. It was very strange and I had to turn it off.

How are postal workers "abused"? They're well paid, they have fantastic benefits, and (until now at least) had excellent job security.

They were showing internal disciplinary proceedings against this one guy who ended up shooting up the place. He was in the bathroom and his supervisor heard a newspaper rustle so the supervisor went and stood on the next toilet to see over the stall walls and confirm he was reading the newspaper, then wrote him up for reading the newspaper. Also he got in trouble for having shorts too tight. And then supervisors were gangstalking him and making harassing phone calls but they erased all the tapes after the shooting.

Well, that's shitty but every industry has horrible bosses. Your options in such a case are to either sue, resign, or put up with it. Shooting people over such a thing is just immature.

Well, a psychologist explained that sometimes things are so bad that you only see two possible paths. Like killing people or not killing people. Some people just take the "wrong" path but who knows what you would do if you got carpal tunnel syndrome?

I would walk into the EuroDNS offices armed with a minigun. There would be no survivors...
