Kids look a little funny, and the parents decide to coddle them.
Wouldn't act so dumb if they got smacked around for the stupid shit they say.
Someday one of these parents is going to tell their kid they are adopted from Asia, and suddenly, the kid doesn't act so aloof and halfwitted, but starts getting A's in math.
