Never understood this mentality. Not knowing doesn't make it go away, but knowing can. If I'm predisposed to diabetes, I'm going to take extra care to avoid sugar.

You wouldn't get to enjoy things like Coca-Cola and chocolate anymore though. I'd rather die of diabetes than have to drink Diet Coke for the rest of my life.

I had my Y-chromosome tested by National Geographic, and I'm considering doing it again to have my mitochondrial DNA tested. Something like this seems interesting because it tests for the other stuff in between.
