@previous (B) > Bush is in office
Dems: ZOMG end the wars! Patriot Act is unconstitutional! Stop torturing people!!!1!!! > Obama gets elected, continues the wars, renews the Patriot Act, assassinates American citizens, and ignores the Constution when he sees fit.
Dems: Everything is sunshine and rainbows now! Obama! Obama! Yes we can!
Basically the video sums up that red vs blue politics don't really go anywhere. It works both ways too. George W. Bush expanded the welfare state and pissed away bazillions of dollars on the national credit card and only after Obama took office did Republicans get all buttmad about "fiscal responsibility".

so basically, the maker of the video is making a pissing contest out of political shit everybody already knows, passing it off as the words of a messiah and begging for donations

I interpreted it as a guy who became interested in liberal and progressive causes during the Bush years, and who listened to liberal talk radio, read liberal blogs, etc and then the moment Obama got elected watched as most "liberals" stopped caring about the issues because their guy was in office.

Do the research yourself. It seems like the usual gold-standard fetishism with some very short clips of politicians shown without any context other than what he provides, and then has some vague insinuations of some oil corporation/government conspiracy to start wars while citing 0 of his claims. It's shoddy work at best but I guess the presentation is slick and people are pretty gullible so that explains why it's got 500,000 views.
