I love peanut butter but dislike peanuts. Am I mentally unstable?

Yes but not because of this quirk.

I like butter but hate cows.

I don't necessarily care about peanut butter, but I hate nuts of any kind.

Possible because peanuts are legumes, and not nuts per se?

I also hate the legume family for the most part. I'm weird.

The crazy part is I'll eat just about anything except those. Do you like chocolate?

I'll eat milk and white chocolate, not crazy about dark though (too bitter). I'm not picky; I'll eat Hershey's or the fancy European stuff. Not something I eat on a daily or even weekly basis but I do enjoy it from time to time. Preferably with wine, or coffee.

Same here on chocolate but not the white stuff. Grew up on milk chocolate and just cannot get into the dark. I love my beers strong and bitter and even blend my own coffee beans for my Espresso and add Brazil bitter beans so I like the bitter but just not in my chocolate.

I definitely get that. I drink my coffee black with no sugar and I can easy enjoy a pint of bitter beer but dark chocolate is just inedible for me.

Started drinking coffee with milk n sugar....then decided to cut sugar so went full on black but noticed I sure ate my way through cartons of coffee ice cream. Then years later fell in2 bed as in live in with a Italian gal who would NOT let me drink it black. So I learned and that was easy to enjoy it every which way.

That dark chocolate has much going for it health wise but I try and try but just cannot enjoy it. Well I can if I have a great port to go with it or a super Cab Sav vino.

I would think that all the dark chocolate benefits re: antioxidants etc would also be present in the milk chocolate varieties. After all, both contain cocoa, right?

It's hard for me to eat chocolate. I'm more of a vanilla person. White chocolate is alright in very small amounts, but otherwise it's too sweet. Chocolate in general just doesn't appeal to me.

SAD 2Say but no. For some reason and I will hit the web later - The milk kills the anti Ox qualities.
