Hey I could not resist putting that up. On occasion a wild turtle ends up eating my grass in my back yard. I live on top of at very close to the edge of a bluff above the beach here in Cardiff by the Sea. I think there is a family of them just below me living on the bluffs. I notice different sizes and coloring of shell. I would never hurt a living creature other then a few nasty bugs.

Turtles are most welcome to my grass but they also chomp on the very few rose bushes I have - I pick them up and give them a variety of carrots and such from the frig. One wiped out a huge Basil plant. I bet that Turtle wood be very tasty in Italian dishes.

So what do you feed your Turtle (other then soup)?

I see a over active Mod with limited sense of humor deleted my recipe for Turtle Soup. IT WAS JUST A JOKE FOR KRIST SAKE.

No, he makes very sure he doesn't bite me, even when I hand feed him. Yes, he roams a lot but I don't think he likes it because he usually goes to sleep under the bed.
