Started on YouTube back in 2007 when I came across an advertisement in the comments for AnonTalk. Dunno what processed me to check out YT ads. Stayed at AnonTalk for a small while. Noticed they bitched and moaned about a site called 4chan. Decided to check out 4chan, stayed there for a bit. Then Kimmo started his spam raid on the site and found out that it was a haven for pedophiles. Found out about Tinychan then went back to 4chan. Then continued going back to Tinychan ever now and then until I finally stayed. Discovered Minichan because of it and here I am today.

The only alcoholic beverage I've tried was (light) beer and it never sold me enough to drink enough to get acquired to it. I found it kind of hard to shallow because the taste was plain. Not necessarily bad or good, just very plain.
As for drugs, I never did any. Unless you want to count prescription or over the counter drugs for whenever I was sick.

She is very old fashioned and her religion is Catholic. I know she isn't too keen on LGBT issues and we have our differences. I would have to tell her when she is in a good mood clearly.

I think you need to get a better handle on what you are or where you are going before you break it to your mother. If I remember correctly you are not near any place that offers free counseling.
But you could try any one of a number of 800 help line numbers. Talking this out with a professional seems to me a more better idea.
