Until now I had never blown up that pic b4. Boudin...Wazzz at a Mardi Gras party Week ago Sunday and a friend brought over a huge platter of home made Boudin. I did my share to help remove it from the platter.
I would go to Mardi Gras, but the last time i was in New Orleans i almost had to fish dead bodies out of the flood zone.
I guess things are better now, or has everyone just gotten used to the "new" foul smell emitted by the streets?

I stopped going to NO Mardi Gras after Katrina. I fly in to airport a lot more often on business because a large part of Globalstar headquarters is now a short drive away. Still hurts me to see all the damage. So many parades all at the same tyme to keep the crowds split up.
I have not done a search to see where n USA people set up huge affairs for Mardi Gras but I have attended several in Canada from East Canada to West and the very first Mardi Gras parade was in Alabama n not Louisiana. Attended on by chance because I missed my flight out of Florida and next connection was too late in PM so I rented a car and drove to Mobile and needed police escort to get me to the Hilton.
Cops told me to wait a bunch of hours for parade to start n wait for finish. I said wot wot...Love Mardi Gras and can dance2 and have reserv at Hilton which was on route and I needed to shower and eat a bit, so cop said ok follow that motorcycle. THEY THROW MOON Pies from floats.
