It's a good idea. In real world driving it's probably just as fast too. People really only buy supercars as status/phallic symbols anyway and this way you get what you really want without all the headaches of a real Bugatti ($20,000 oil change? are you fucking kidding me?). Plus it's cheaper to insure and much more economical. I doubt any non-autistic person could tell the difference from ten feet anyway.
I think it begs the question: what is the point of a real Bugatti? Try to go anywhere near 230MPH outside of a few roads in Germany and you will lose your license and/or end up in some horrific accident. In the real world you will be poking along at 75 mph on the freeway like the guy in the Camry ahead of you. So if you can get the style and look of a Bugatti for 95% less, why not?
Nothing particularly groundbreaking here though, kit cars have been around forever but this one looks very well done. Reminds me of the 80's and 90's kits where you could turn your humble little Pontiac Fiero into a Ferarri/Lamborghini. That car's spaceframe construction made this easy since the body panels weren't load bearing. Trying to do this on a unibody car must be time consuming and difficult. A++ 10000/10 to the guy who made it.

This furthers my belief that million dollar cars are just over-priced. I watched how Rolls Royce is made, and i noticed that it comes with a retractable, built in umbrella that pops out the door.
Totally worth it.

You have no idea how fun it is to drive through a balky city at night with a car that can accelerate like mad.

Oh and about the "expensive oil change" "insane insurance cost" etc... if you can shell out 1.6 million for the car, you can pay for the insurance and maintains too...
