I'll answer you besides questioning you, I heard smoking more than you usually would will make you not have the desire anymore. I don't know how true that is. If you're concerned about your health and enjoy smoking, just switch to e-cigarettes.

Smoke 1 less cigarette than you normally would every day until you're only smoking half a pack a day. After this it will get especially difficult. Smoke 1 less cigarette every other day until you're down to 1 cigarette a day. Then smoke 1 every other day, continue to double the amount of days between each cigarette until the next scheduled cigarette is impossibly far off or you lack the desire to smoke.

He's 18 years old and smokes cigarettes like a grown-up so he knows what he's talking about.

I start wanting a cigarette every time I open this thread.
Based on this, my advice to OP is: stop reading this thread

Find something else to occupy your mind, and try your absolute hardest not to let your thoughts wander when you're bored.
The first few weeks are the hardest. But you can do it, OP! I believe in you!!

Is it? I'm not a faggot who can't just not do something I don't want to do. Deal with the anxiety, and withdrawal. You'll get over it. I don't care how hard it is, or how much I don't understand, just be a man and fucking do it.

This is your argument for gradually cutting down one cigarette a day instead of going cold turkey? You're an idiot. Also judging by the calibre of topics you make on here you are actually "a faggot who can't just not do something [he doesn't] want to do" (Nice grammar there, by the way) so I don't know who you're trying to kid.

@OP
I haven't smoked a cigarette in weeks, and probably months. Honestly, for me it wasn't hard, but I know it really is for so many people. I never really [had] to smoke a cigarette, as I did just [wanting] one. Anyways, I think buying a vaporizer is your best bet. In my case, it's not the nicotine I'm addicted to, I just really enjoy the smoking. However, I still get nicotine in my e-liquid, but I don't necessarily need it. Anyway, consider picking one up. Not a cheap one either, because those are utter shit. If you want, I can help you pick one out. Not to mention, the flavor possibilities are endless. One of the more weird flavors I've seen recently was jalapeno. Also, after vaping for a couple of weeks, a normal cigarette will taste disgusting (for most people). Definitely worth the money. Not to mention, you save a lot more money vaping than buying cigarettes.
