i got my flu shot 2 weeks ago and got a cold, or something like it. ---i reacted to it in some sort of way. it sucked, but no biggie.
but then last night I had the chills so bad... and then when i woke up i felt like i was run over by a fucking lawnmower. fuck I feel horrible.
another issue is that i dont have a whole lot of hours this month and they called me asking if i wanted some more, but i had to call out for the day right then and there!! fuck!!
what do?? I've been sick to some degree like all month. I'd do anything to just feel even -okay- at this point. mom says go to the doctor, but mine is one hour away and that's $50 of gas D:

@386,733 (God !kJ.A4PF7.k) > That's your problem. Those things are more harm than good.
How so? Some people will get flu-like symptoms for a few days after, and a sore injection site. And there's a very rare chance of allergic reaction. These things are all massively outweighed by the protection the shot provides, no?

@386,750 (H) > Most flu strains are more dangerous in healthy young adults.
I have heard this is true for some flu strains such as Spanish flu and the H1N1 we saw in 2009, but I don't know if it is true for most strains.
