Topic: What really grinds my gears: using the word "Caucasian" to refer to white people in general.

It would be like calling all black people "Nigerians". Caucasian should only be used to refer to people who are from the Caucasus region of Eastern Europe- no one else. It just makes no sense. And speaking of race, why is that black people are called "African-American" but white people are never called "European-American"? Neither white nor black people are native to the Americas so there's no reason for the separate designation.

Race... lol. As if any of that shit still matters in a post-monetary society.
Black guy with money fucks his choice of beautiful elegant white women or beautiful elegant black women.
Black guy without money fucks his choice crass ghetto black girls and white trailer trash.
Race hardly plays into it anymore.

Does anybody really use the term African American anymore? Everybody outside the US just calls blacks... black.

Or thinking being from anywhere in Asia is the same thing as being from the orient.

African-American is the "politically correct" term in America, used in the media and by people who wish to be politically correct. If a white South African comes to America though they're not "African-American" even though white people have been in South Africa longer than black people have been in America. Race is a slightly more touchy subject in America than in many other countries due to the history of slavery, segregation (apartheid lite) and that sort of thing which other countries (like Canada and the UK) never really had.
