Just started a terraria server for minichan, which hopefully will stay running for a while. Send an admin PM or join the irc for the ip address. Server side inventory is enabled, which means that to play you need to dedicate a character to this server, and join with an empty inventory the first time. After that you have to /register with a password, and can /login using it. This means your character is your own, and no cheating.

Also, for now everyone has access to /tp, /home and /spawn. You can stop people from teleporting to you with /tpallow

Yeah. What I totally didn't figure out until today is that there are little caverns EVERYWHERE. Seriously. Find any wall that is not dug into and goes so far you can't see the other side of it. There are probably at least 2 caves in that wall, and sometimes if you're lucky, it opens to a totally new and unexplored area. Also, it helps to go to areas we don't normally dig around a lot in (Jungle, beyond/below dungeon, desert) and just mine straight down. Odds are you'll find a whole bunch of unexplored shit.

If you're exploring by starting in the mineshaft thing we dug down, that will happen. if you run out like 3-4 biomes out on either side, you'll find unexplored shit. Try digging below the corruption biome past the jungle. I just started that today and found a lot.
