It would get challenged immediately by the ACLU and the courts would strike it down pretty quickly. I think it sucks that lawmakers in Arizona don't know what the Supreme Court has ruled on religious issues but even if by some miracle it passed and was signed into law, it probably wouldn't even have time to take effect before it was struck down.

So what if an atheist kid has pride and enough conviction to be honest and refuse to say the oath in full. Then he would be denied a diploma for an education that was compulsory.
