A gunshot to the head will provide instant, painless death if you hit the brain stem. Even if you don't, I'm sure a bullet through the brain is pretty quick. It will leave a hell of a mess for your friends/relatives/the police to clean up which is either good or bad depending on your motives and situation.
Asphyxiation with inert gas such as helium or nitrogen will be totally painless and will take effect in about two minutes. You'll maybe feel a bit lightheaded and then sort of pass out. Very peaceful. Also there wont be any mess or blood for whoever finds you.
Strangulation or hanging would be a third option, but you will feel some discomfort till you lose consciousness. Probably not unbearable though. You might also consider poisons like cyanide but these are not pleasant.
Whatever you do, don't cut your wrists. It's very ineffective and you'll probably just end up surviving (the goal is to die, right?) and then they'll try to get you locked up in a mental hospital.
Also, before you go, send a letter to your friends/family/the police so they can collect the body soon after you make your exit. You don't want to end up like that one guy where he suicided and then they didn't find him for years and he was a skeleton by then.

Potassium cyanide is a great option. Burns the throat for a bit, but other than that you just fall asleep and forever. After consuming, you have about 5 minutes.
Antifreeze is also nice. It has a sweet taste and it looks cool!
