Are autistic people more suspectible to psychopaths?
Autists tend not to perceive emotion and can't express their emotions, however when they perceive emotions of others it really affects them strongly.
Psychopaths are the opposite. They perceive emotions and can express fake emotions to exploit people. But they don't feel empathy for other people.
I don't know where I fall. Asperger's generally is not perceiving emotion, but I can perceive it fine, I just can't express it unless it's really honest, which is bad socially, so I hide it. I cannot fake emotions to exploit people like the majority can. And I have a lot of trouble communicating my own emotions to make anyone care the least about me. I also care about others, which is affective empathy. When I care about anyone, I always do everything I can to help them, although it comes out awkward. And part of whatever is about me, when I shop for Christmas gifts for people, I always find the best gifts not expensive but rare unique items they like, and they always no idea what to give me.
I was just reading stuff and I realized, I always get taken advantage of psychopaths. The thing is all my trouble communicating emotionally, a psychopath will pretend like it doesn't exist, and so I think "Wow a real true best friend." And I feel like I have a strong connection and I'm caring about them, helping them, and then eventually they take advantage of my good nature and then we split on not good terms. Though I don't always split, like one guy kept borrowing money and then would try to pay it back by work like tuning up my car, but never got around to doing much, and he'd refuse to do more work till I loaned him more money so it went on like that. I won't even go into my love life, which is the same way--a string of psychopathic women who fake emotion so it seems like the awkwardness isn't there, but it is and they're just faking it. Like the first one when I was little liked to go around kicking everyone, but rarely did that to me. Ironically her sister wasn't like this, though the sister had it together enough to have a boyfriend for the past two years.
I rambled enough. Do you think it is true that people with social trouble are more vulnerable to psychopaths than anyone else?
People use psychopath to mean someone they don't like. But with regards to what I had said, a psychopath is someone who makes you get along with them too well... all the difficulties you have with people usually, they're gone, like this black oil lubricates it and makes it flow smoothly ... and then the psychopath betrays you. Suddenly, by surprise. That's a true psychopath.
I've never gotten along with anyone that smoothly, manipulated anyone, or anything like this.

OP, I know a few with aspergers and they get taken advantage of more easily, not necessarily by psychopaths, usually just assholes. Just be cautios innit. Also:

If you're a sucker, then you deserve to be taken advantage of. It's your lot in life. Not my fault if a fool and his money are parted, but i'd be stupid if i didn't take what you drop.

Hey I saw some customer drop £20 on the floor where I used to work and I told him. But fuck it, was stealing from work so not like I needed it
