It's time. the feds are coming.
if you don't arm yourself now it might be decades or never before you'll be able to again.
seriously, there's not much time. at the very least buy your high-capacity magazines now so when you buy your rifle down the road you can swap 'em in. that's legal.
anyway, i've been told by a gun buddy that i need at least 3 more guns,
i need, of course, a .556 tactical carbine. He likes DPMS.
and a high capacity 9mm pistol.
realistically 19 9mm rounds is way scarier than 7 .45 magnums.
also he loves his beretta .380, and thinks everyone needs to have one. neat little gun, very compact too.
he is jealous of my Walther .40sw. The slide markings were pressed into the metal with a roller, not laser inscribed like the newer ones. it's neat.
anyone else planning on buying an assault rifle before the ban?
anyone who owns one have an opinion on manufacturers? stag vs colt, etc.?

I would buy one, but I'm too much of a pacifist to fire one. So what is the purpose in even getting an assault refile?
But, if the ban goes through, would this open up a new black market?

i could imagine many scenario in which i would regret not having one.
> But, if the ban goes through, would this open up a new black market?
nah. there's still gun shows, but, they'll have to stop production of high capacity (or severely limit it) which just limits supply.
things will get more expensive, and harder to get.
they're really going after high capacity magazines. it actually wouldn't be a bad idea to buy a bunch of them and then go re-sell them at a gun show when they go up 10x in price after a ban.

Real Americans install barbed wire fences around the perimeter of their property, hire guards with sniper rifles and floodlights to stay on top of watchtowers at each corner and also install miniguns on the rooftops to reduce any unwanted guests into red mist.

If you were an american you'd take this all a lot more seriously. @previous (Average American citizen)
When you're being rounded up in terrorist concentration camps by the mujahadeen you'll be wishing you were old enough to buy a gun before the ban. Sucks, sorry. You'll never be in Red Dawn.

What could be more serious than barbed wire fences around the perimeter of my property, guards with sniper rifles and floodlights staying on top of watchtowers at each corner and miniguns installed on the rooftops to reduce any unwanted guests into red mist?

I would like to buy an Uzi. My friend has one and it's really cool. I don't see the big deal with high capacity mags. My Browning Hi Power holds 14 rounds and only takes a second to reload. Those will never be outlawed. Don't know if I should go with the Uzi or get an AR-15. The .223 round is neat.

I already have an arsenal. Thanks.
If you can afford it HK is the way to go. Superior to colt anyway. I like Rock River Arms and Noveske too though. Might as well get an SBR while you're at it.
As far as full sized or compact pistols go... Glock and HK are grate.
For subcompacts and micros you have a lot of options from failtec, beretta, or even something like a makarov is pretty easy to conceal. I have a g26 as an alternatebro my g19 but it's still pretty big. Occasionally I'll carry a pf9 or a mak. Depends on what shoes I'm wearing that day as to how I accessorize.

I have an HK compact .357 sig and a kahr subcompact 9mm too, but the Browning is my favorite. The .357 is ridiculously powerful. It's absurd how it just destroys stuff. I want to get a Glock 10mm too.
