In one of the worst cases, a man had starvation recorded as the cause of his death after being treated at the hospital for two months.
Jeremy Hunt, the Health Secretary, said last night that he was “disgusted and appalled†by what the families had been through, and that the Government was acting to ensure that failings in care were detected more quickly.
Bereaved relatives had told how vulnerable patients were left to starve when trays were placed out of their reach, while others were left in soaking bedsheets.
Many of the families are to receive compensation for cases that their lawyer described as “appallingâ€.[/border]
in @383,112 (C) you claimed i said there is nothing horrific about the way people in @OP were treated when in actuality I disagreed with the opinion that socialised medicine "just kills the elderly and infirm in horrific ways". Supporting evidence: This story is a national scandal; if this were normal, this story would not be a national scandal. Many people are saved by NHS hospitals.

@previous (Ashe)
So the NHS is NOT socialized medicine, or did those people NOT die horrifically? Please clarify.

No, because socialised healthcare does not just kill the infirm and elderly in horrific ways. It is on the contrary very clear (and stated multiple times) that what killed these people is a failure in socialised healthcare, and indeed in healthcare in general.
And also there are many infirm and elderly who the NHS does not kill. You fat Australian peadophile child molesting sissy boy.

No dude, what happened was you see they have a schedule about when people deliver food. So people always get food delivered around certain times.
> go to england > head to restaurant for food > watch is set to timezone of hometown > ask someone what time it is > TOYME? WOTS THAT? > notice he doesn't have a watch on > no one in england has a watch > big ben starts to chime > everyone stops what they're doing to count the bongs on their fingers > man crashes his car trying to count the bongs > waitress drops my order on the floor to count her fingers > man running down the street: OI IT'S 7 BONG > mfw
So certain people always got their food dropped.
