I've played them both before on the original PlayStation, I know both games in and out, I just have more memories with the second, and I had to purchase the third, and I previously bought FFIX for it, so I have no more funds left, except a 20 dollar bill that I could potentially use, but I do need a haircut.

Well, I suppose when you put it that way I can see a little more clearly what you mean. Though I would say a minimum age would have to be met so a determined 14 year old can't just convince themselves they want to die. As well, as you said, a mental evaluation should be done before they are. well for lack of better words, approved to die.

I would hope that you would include chronic depression in this category (in instances where counselling/medication was unsuccessful). Actually introducing this death option would be a good thing. If death was actually an option, I think more help would be given to those that would otherwise turn to it.

Yikes. It's a shame that most states will kill someone that has comitted murder or raped a child, but wont allow someone to go with some dignity. I hate the idea that I'll die crapping myself and not remembering what my children and grandchildren look like.

If you are ever going to do this, I implore you to do it via awesome adventure. Think about it: You are about to kill yourself, you have nothing you think is worth keeping you around for, so why don't you leave the country and go on the most exciting adventure of your life? Travel around and see the world as a bum, go to a turbulent country like Libya and fight alongside the civilians, go fucking climb a fucking mountain and live with some monks. You could be 100% fearless. You were going to die anyways, so what the fuck do you care if you try to do something dangerous and fail?
If you aren't willing to throw everything away and go on a suicide adventure, you aren't really depressed enough to commit suicide in the first place.

That is the one bit of me that is a little conservative. While I think the death penalty should be reserved for the most extreme cases, I don't believe someone that murders several people showing full mental awareness should be allowed to live out his days even if it is in a prison cell.

I have a friend who actually did this. He thought he wanted to kill himself so he just up and left. He backpacked through Africa (South Africa, specifically around the time of the world cup) Guess what he found out? The world is amazing and he didn't want to kill himself after all. Now he lives there!

Yeah, I can see logic in it. But it also sounds extremely difficult (physically and emotionally), and many who are depressed simply don't have the energy or motivation to do something so difficult. My problem is not with logic; it's with energy/motivation and emotional "trapment".

We had one woman who had never taken an actual shower since she saw the movie "Psycho" at it's premiere. Her vagina smelled like hot catfood. We ended up forcing her into the shower. I lovde my old people and they love me. I'm very well liked by patients and staff. Once, the family of one of my favorite residents paid me to help take her to the bathroom on Christmas day. The party had excellent food, they gave me a $50 Bell giftcard for a present, and they paid $180 for the day.

New Zealand's government is currently doing well in a tough position, I think. It was heavily focused on improving our financial position, but then we had two devastating earthquakes which is gonna set us back billions of dollars. :(
