You know that line about life as a Glass half-full or half-empty. I live life as Glass ALWAYS GOING FULL no matter the level.Fat Fuck Miller has a great deal of value for Chans and Y you ask? Because he represents all that can go wrong with poor choices in.
1: Life Style
2: Choice of college Major
3: Excessive use of Internet
4: Dishonesty
5: Plagiarism (a college level form of dishonesty)
6-7-8-9-10 Ad infinitum : How these bad choices manifest themselves over a 17 year period on the internet, or any period when related to a few at each chan (or many)
I think the biggest button I ever pushed Re Miller was the day I added up his Friday Sat Sun Afternoon and Evening tymes across many net platforms and posted the details. He wood tell people he was off to a party or club or out to dinner with friends and leave a forum and enter another forum to pull his stunts/shtick. Over the years he continued to stay on Keyboard and grown fatter n FATTER.
When outed the Rage was ....was beyond expectations.
So sure I got a Ego boost out of my research.
What was not so great on my end was to see friends on forums starting to do the same thing. Sucked in by net play and games and even real net friendships. The problem of course is that a lot of people started to hang in Forums and leave real life behind more and more.
I have watched some great people turn to drinking. Lose perspective on treating real people in real life as human. I hate to say it, but a person known as "Bert" has been a net friend for about 14+ years and watching him deteriorate has not been fun at all. Everclear has done much damage. Bert aka asram, knows what I just said is true. He may not post here often, but he sure lurks n then goes to the dark side with Shitchan.
Just one example that a few of you are aware about, but had no clue I have counted him as a net friend for many years now.
Point of this tl;dr is
Matt makes a great object lesson of wot U should not do. Over doing Net with chan or games vs Real Life. The fun and Joy of touching someone, besides touching yourself or the keyboard.
Me? I consider myself lucky with regard to a choice of work for good pay via turning a hobby into one hell of a career. Nor did I choose the most rewarding choice of income, because far too many years were from US Gov pay for work as "Q" for those special 3Letter Gov agencies. Pay is a fraction of what Engineers get paid at typical Aerospace company.
However the work was far more exciting then possible for higher pay and that is a trade off I do not regret. I entered Engineering as a hobby and wood have worked for free and told them as much. Just lucky that later in life, I ended up with a company that hit GOLD on the stock market and Stock Options turned out to be like Gold coins falling from the sky on a monthly basis. That's just dumb luck!!!! Like hitting the lottery. Brains had nada to do with $$$$ Success.
Right place at Right time and I rejected early attempts on working for my former College Profs who founded Qualcomm
That is as honest as I can be.
So Handle please consider the value of a fully Exposed Miller and wot it offers to the community.
Also in San Francisco I met a gal who has a chance to be a movie star and is faced with a horrid problem re her net history. She is a writer and has even sold a screen play to one of my former employers MCA/Universal. She gets to play a major role in her own screen play. Make some good money.
Problem she expressed and someThing you all need to consider when you put up your own photos on Web.
She has web pages she cannot remove, with her photo attached. Some short stories on subjects re Sex in nature that may be fiction (i dared not ask about that) and of course a net handle with no hint of name.
One click on her photos with the alias name and one click on Google Image search and her full name and bio appears.
Only a real problem if she ends up with real fame. And it could cost her work in the future.
Will your funny photos you post here or elsewhere end up being used against you?
Miller related: His PhD committee pulled up lots of negative content re his application to be considered for the PhD program. A good part of the reason they rejected him was due to the negative content (Scat - Pedo - Plagiarism, and even just ordinary play) Is/Was that fair? Perhaps not but any employer will do exactly that and Life is not always fair now is it.
When I say he has no ideal of how much that had to do with his being rejected....I know this 101% as FACT.

I post regularly on Scatchan. I post here the least, and post on TC a bit more than I post here, but I enjoy reading your insightful, if a bit long winded, posts. I'm only replying to this thread because you brought up Bert. People have taken to trolling him pretty heavily on Scatchan, myself included. He's made himself into quite the target, partially over his obsession over a teenaged female poster known as "triptych" around these parts, but mostly because he has a tendency to get hammered on everclear and act retarded. He's really easy to upset, and when he's really in the bag it's a lot of fun to goad him into full on Internet tough guy mode. Now, we've told him many times that if he cut back on the drinking and left triptych alone that nobody would give him any grief, but he refuses to see the error of his ways. TBH I don't think he's a bad guy, but I think he's become increasingly lonely and isolated, and now has a serious problem with alcohol. I almost wish there was a way to help him, but he's made himself almost as big of a target for the trolls as Fatfuck. This makes me think that both Bert and MAtt have a pathological Internet addiction, as well as alcoholism.

You are spot on accurate. Because of my Dyslexia, when I look at Shitchan, I cannot recognize Bert by text speak. I have tried a few times and given up.
Its probably 14 years since I first ran into him. He was/is proud of his loading up on Everclear. Getting it down as fast as possible. For a number of years he loaded up on Coke and I think he may have kicked the Coke habit. I could email him and ask.
Of course I do not know who triptych is other then seeing a random post about her when I look in at that chan. But with Bert he has always targeted one or two women on the net and then made a mess of himself during the process. At the Reef it was Sandy the owner. Then when she put up her pics asram aka Bert went further over the top. Started to freak her out.
He honestly believes he has a chance with each of these woman. But he turns them against him and I know he does not mean to do this. Yet he continues down that dark road and has been doing this for so many years.
A few tell me via mail he has allied himself with Matt. For a dozen plus years he openly hated Matt so I have no clue why he would become a Matt white knight. In mail I brought this up but he never answered that question.
One thing is for sure. 90+ PEOPLE on Reef/Mentalward/Bianca/ worked on getting asram to see the light re Coke and how it would kill him. So at least a few of us were successful in getting him to see the light. Its odd how he can get fired and mostly because of getting high, yet find a new job very quickly.
Have to hand that to him because he knows how to work hard and keep getting jobs, but not on how to stay sober to keep them.
Thanks a bunch for the reply on asram/bert. And yes he is net addicted much like Matt. Imagine actually ending up in a new place on planet earth yet living all the free hours on a keyboard. Truly a shame how many fall for that trap of living as if wired in.
I always use the line that I am paid to play and 99% of that is true. IF I am on the net its during quick breaks from work - Usually waiting for a Satellite to come into view of one of my Tracking Control Command Stations around the world - often I only have 6 minutes on average to do contact with a bird - then have to wait maybe 20 mins to get into contact with it again. So if I have everything set and ready and figured out then I get 20 mins of free time to play. May read news or even have TV on in background. When on trips as I did for say Russia for 6 months at a shot solid, nada free time for net play because any free time was me out and about in the city.
Matt will one day return to USA, and have only memories of that one light bulb room and some net play. Very sad.

He knows Matt from past sites and thus has more in common with him than anyone else.
He came to the game late on these boards, doesn't understand why people treat Matt so badly and sticks up for him because he thinks Matt is being unfairly targeted.
Or (and this is the one I think is most likely)
He believes the same people that are trolling Matt are trolling him, and it's just one or two people using socks (it's actually the majority of the userbase) to harass them both off the board, so they set their differences aside to fight a common enemy.
As for the triptych thing; triptych has posted a lot of pictures of herself, and despite being underage and Bert being in his mid 40s, Bert thinks he has a shot with her. He also thinks he's being perfectly civil with her, and that nothing he has ever said to her is creepy. Fact is, triptych completely stopped using a name and hardly ever even posted anonymously because of Bert creeping on her. As a result, Bert became hostile towards her, and still believes that the "angry anons" turned triptych against him, and not his own behavior.

They got me with hearing aid cause one pic had me with paper I wood stuff in ear or real ear plug...Hate doing that but at some events the music is ear damaging and for a bit I did work in a big huge way on some real recording sessions - NOT MY PROUDEST MOMENT by a long shot. My real name appears on a few album covers cept on re-prints I got that name off- NOT a good thing to have on resume for a Circuit design Engineer or Manager of Engineers or a Business - that business so filled with Drugs n worse - So to be connected with such had some good memories but mostly very very bad memories

A mod may pick this apart and my facts may not be 100% accurate because we have States who have different laws on so much.
Non famous people have rights that famous people do not have. So stars have people hunting them down to take pics of them as you might be aware of. Often with disaster as in a tunnel and a fallen Princess chased by the paparazzi.
I on the other hand can claim ownership and control of pics people take of me UNLESS I WAIVE THAT RIGHT' and there are multiple ways to waive such a right of ownership.
And of course Stars can control pics that were taken of them under their permission. So Marlyn Monroe's family makes a huge fortune on many a famous photo of her but not if paparazzi uses it EXCEPT commercial use of public pics somehow can revert to those that hold control of say Marlyn Monroe.
So mass of people have taken Elvis's pic when say he was doing a show at Vegas, and that pic belongs to the taker. Yet that take cannot profit from the pic without permission from the family of Elvis.
With Beatles of course one needs permission of the Jackson family cause Michel bought those rights and family now makes a fortune on license of such.
Those Einstein images pull in a HUGE Fortune for the family. With a simple Mistrake Marilyn and Einstein could have lost all control of their own property aka their own pics.
So if you follow that? Matt Miller on the other hand posted a mass of photos without adding copyright. So for instance Youtube is loaded with old movie stuff that still has valid copyrights because people cared and if you watch a movie to end you see the copyright stuff to maintain ownership.
With the mass of what Matt has posted he is hardly in a position to claim anything and by now he knows the PhD committee viewed a mass of stuff he did on web yet he had no clue how it could come back to bit him in the ass.
I strongly recommend that people here like John be very careful about posting so many images. Google and other image search tools can end up showing people here some very embarrising stuff they had no clue could be connected.
There are people at MC n TC that do not want their real full names and address exposed yet will post a simple shot of self that with one click can link to their Facebook page for major doxing.
