Your bright nuff to use a delete key when you get Spam in email.
So why not delete Spam you see in a forum. Pick a number of max spam posts per day you feel like allowing and anything over that number just delete.
Most mods find it difficult to do this when there are threads built up. But on forums with strong mods & the other posters who mostly just harass the spammer, the members learn to expect the spam and threads to go away.
I know you tried the edit the poster to see if that worked. With Fat Fuck its a lot of work. Delete on MC software may be one key stroke. Or you can live with Spam.

Companies usually have a policy that says after one is paid a high level managers salary, its against policy to hire anyone who was paid say $250K plus - to hire them as a regular employee making only 1/2 that. IBM and Ma Bell actually Rote that in HR Policy manual as Security Issue
Qualcomm on the other hand operates much like a University. No silly dumb rules of such nature. Managers can go back to being less paid Engineers. Very few places allow such.
