Hi guys.
I'm trying to make a movie. I have two clips. I want to combine them into one. Like having video X full screen, then video Y playing in the corner simultaneously.

Picture in picture video? Download a torrent of Sony Vegas. There's probably a tutorial for that exact thing.

Sony Vegas is your best bet...
Put one video in one layer, put the other you wanna play in the corner in another layer, make it so that the smaller video is above the one that'll play fullscreen, and then there is this niffty little option called "pan and zoom" I think (something like it) so you can set where that smaller video is in the frame and how big it is.
And that's it.

or just use imovie if you have a mac because it is so much easier
