Topic: Should I buy new ink for my printer... or just buy a new printer?
Anonymous A started this discussion 14 years ago#24,587
Buying a new printer costs $30 and buying more ink for my current printer costs $45. I know the new printers come with "starter" reduced capacity inks but the full size inks only seem to last 50 pages at most anyway. Am I insane for thinking it's just better to buy a new printer every two months?

nope your not crazy to think that. printers come dirt cheap because the real money comes from ink which is fuckin robbery.
Anyway, we order ink for cheap from 123inkcartridges.ca for our Brother printer, its pretty cheap

Buy a quality printer with cheaply changeable ink?
I pay around $16 for all 4 cartridges for my Epson DX5050, and they print way over 50 pages.

we bought a 100 euro laser printer which lasts like a thousand pages with the toners that came with it.
if you want really good quality for a reasonable price you'll have to get an inkjet though

@379,490 (TheSheep !kJ.A4PF7.k)
Is it an older model? I can't find anywhere to buy one online. @previous (doctor dreamworks md !jdTkvovFCQ)
Quality doesn't matter that much, readable text is all I really need. I'm not looking to do art or photography or anything. @379,490 (TheSheep !kJ.A4PF7.k)
