I'm looking for a program that will search for drivers, see if they're updated or not and then download the current version. Any suggestions?

Install Linux or downlaod the latest drivers from the sites of the manufacturers of your parts.

Isn't Windows supposed to do this?

No you. I answered your question. There is no magic program that scans your drivers and automatically find the right drivers and also the latest ones. You do this manually or you install Linux. Fucker.

I've been using versions of that for years.

None of those tools with actually find the real latest drivers. I've tried them, take bluetooth dongles for example. Big chances it will install some trial version of Toshiba's or Solarwhatever crap, instead of the proper drivers and apps. But suit yourself. My point is simple; if you want the latest greatest and super bestest drivers you will have to put in some legwork, or rely on a shitty tool that can never know all driver revisions from different brands and manufacturers.

You didn't answer my question you fucking pleb, I asked for an application that would find the up to date drivers and all you provided me with is some smart assed answer about installing Linux. Your second reply would have been helpful if you weren't totally retarded, how do you think I knew I had outdated drivers in the first place?

I said you would need to do it manually, which is the truth you don't want to hear. Go use one of these little apps and see for yourself.

i think most laptops have driver managers but only install the ones by the manufacturers or just do it manually
