No, but that's just me? Maybe? The serif is more subtle and soft, and the characters are all a little thicker and softer. It's a more legible typeface. IDK, dude, idk. Idk. Why?

I need to use a Roman typeface for something. This isn't very helpful, but the example font looks sorta like Georgia, I think? I really don't like Times New Roman.

If you're being asked to do something and the only specification is to use a Roman typeface, Georgia should be fine. It's fine. It's good.
