I'm going to put an end to this "nice guys" vs. "jerks" nonsense once and for all.

There's no "nice guys" or "jerks" really. It's about brain makeup, specifically people ruled by the reptilian part of the brain. If you see women going after men, and call them whatever names you desire, any idiot can tell these low quality males are ruled by the reptilian part of their brain. All this behavior for dominance, brutality, are some of many reptilian brain attributes. Now why are so many women after them? Because most people are ruled by this part of the brain, so no surprise women are too. If a woman wants a man with status, money, or physical dominance this is a desire of the reptilian part of the brain.
