Is that bad? I had to get food from the local food pantry just to be able to eat. :( I barely had money for bills this month. They were huge this month, for some god forsaken reason. I feel horrible for not being able too. I am someone who loves giving for any holiday or occassion. I know presents aren't everything... but I can't even get my signifigant other something.

Don't worry about it. Make people cards, and put a lot of thought into them. You can get a pack of blank cards for pretty cheap. If not just use regular paper.
