It's happening to me right now. I'm being accused and punished for an action I didn't commit. It's making me feel very sad, and I'm not even sure what I can do. The person is apparently 100 percent confident in their accusation so it's difficult for me to convince them of the actual truth.

Dude, you post personal things about your relationship(s) on MC all the time. If it's advice you want, you will need to be more specific. I have been accused of lots of things I didn't do, some big and some trivial, but I couldn't give you advice unless you explain what it is you're being accused of, or at least give a general outline.
