...and I look in the mirror and there is a cop behind me. No lights, not even tailgating. Just speeding along like nobody's business. This went on for a few miles and then he went on the exit ramp. Fucking weird.

One time i was speeding along at night and i thought the dude behind me was trying to race, so i sped up, and then when he passed me i looked and saw two cops in a police car giving me a dirty look. I slowed to let them pass and they sped along like they couldn't do anything to stop me, so they just took off.
I figured they were on their way to a call and didn't have time to mess with a speeder.

I got pulled over for driving 50 in a 50 zone, after completely stopping on a stop sign lol.
The cop asked me what I was up to and my car was searched. They explaned that I drove suspiciously. Now I drive 60 in 50 zones, 80-90 in 70 zones and just slow down on stop signs... never had problems :D

Seriously though. I used to get pulled over almost everyday in my old car. No reason they had to pull me over. They just make up some bullshit excuse. I swear I see more people getting pulled over for no front plate than I do people with no back plate. Why is that?

When they are doing speed controls (at least that's how they do it around here) one dude shoots with the radar and reads the speed, and if someone is speeding he reads the licence plates over the radio to the second cop car that fishes him out of the traffic...
That's why they hate when you don't have the front licence plate around here, the back one isn't read that often on the other hand.

That sounds reasonable. Also why I tell people that even if they passed a cop speeding to slow down for a bit because it's not hard to radio another officer down the road to look out for you.
