1. Download the version of the map off my site (this is the one I am using to mark the pixel-location of each city) - http://wurmwalker.110mb.com/guide.png
2. Open Gimp or any other picture editor which allows you to easily see which pixel your pointer is over.
3. Note the settlement and pixel location in a basic word process in this order:
(Settlement)
(X coordinates - this is the first number you see in your editor, followed by a comma; do not add the comma here, just the number)
(Y coordinates)
(settlement)
(x coords)
(y coords)
etc.
(They don't need to be alphabetized, I have a sorter which does that for me :) )
Do not insert extra lines/commas/symbols between settlements, please. The program reads them in that format.
Note: Select a pixel within the box of the settlement.
4. Mark the settlement you've located off using your picture editor so you know which ones you've already recorded.
5. (Optional) Type the pixels into the WurmWalker to check your accuracy (it's okay if it's not perfectly on the settlement, as long as the pointer is very, very close - ie: within 15 pixels) - http://wurmwalker.110mb.com/
6. After you've added at least five towns with their respective coordinates in the format listed above, post them here (if it's okay with the topic creator) so that others will not redo your work.
Notes: Work from the left to right on starting at the bottom or the middle. This helps eliminate overlap. Also, if you post the grids you're currently working on others will know not to spend time on them.
I'll post you in a "contributors" section if you provide 10 or more accurate settlements within close proximity which were not previously marked.
