I have modded a Wii, PSPs, and DSs with little to no problems. But this Xbox 360 mod scene is a complete and total clusterfuck.

How can I cheaply dump the firmware?? Are there services for this where I can just pay someone to do it? Or would it just be cheaper to buy a new drive with key/firmware dump included (if that is even possible)?

I'd really like to spend as little as possible to obtain a key/firmware dump. The plan is use Wasabi360 and an external hardrive to play backups, the obvious advantages aside this method also allows safe online play from what I can determine.

I can't even figure out if there is a specific name for the toolset that enables keydump.

Any advice appreciated.

I have pretty much everything (for the kids), only thing they don't have currently is the PS Vita, they'd rather have Kindle Fires, so Kindle Fires it shall be; and I'll mod those fuckers too.

I've got it all down I just wanna dump the firmware without dropping $80 if possible. I can see why people would say the PS3 is easier after trudging through the clusterfuck of a 360 mod community. 360 modding from what I can tell isn't actually that complicated, it's the community that has fucked it. Not a single person has taken the time to list all the options, pros, cons, and link to tutorials, this guy came closest to making a half decent guide, but even then it's incomplete. http://gbatemp.net/threads/types-of-hacks-for-the-360.334203/
