Ran 10 Miles today in mostly light drizzle without a single break. Still it felt like victory of mind over raindrops.
Here comes that rainy day feeling again
And soon my tears they will be falling like rain
It always seems to be a Monday
Left over memories of Sunday
Always spent with you before the clouds appear
And took away my sunshine
Here comes that rainy day feeling again
And I'll be dreaming of you baby in vain
Your face is always on my mind girl
I hope that soon you're gonna find girl
Your way back to me
Cause if you say you'll stay, the rainy days would go away
Misty morning eyes I'm trying to disguise the way I feel
But I just can't hide it
People seem to know
The loneliness will show
I'm thinking of my pride but breaking up inside girl...whoaaa
Here comes that rainy day feeling again
And soon my tears they will be falling like rain
It always seems to be a Monday
Left over memories of Sunday
Always spent with you before the clouds appear
And took away my sunshine
here comes that rainy day feeling again
here comes that rainy day feeling again
here comes that rainy day feeling again
here comes that rainy day feeling again

I'll be watching it tonight. I was too tired to stay up last night.

You'll probably be considerably less satisfied.

> I saw about fifty normals and about a dozen bright, explodey ones.
The first time I remember seeing a meteor shower I was trying to get drunk after an acid trip, I went outside to puke at the motel we were at and saw green and purplish streaks lighting up the sky. It remains the most beautiful shower I've seen to date. Maybe it was the acid, but I was fucking awestruck. It's little moments like that, that change the way you look at things, if not for that little experience and others like it I may not have an interest in space shit today.

Just adding weather here makes this a no event for me.
In past I along with friends go out east of here towards the desert to get away from city lights. Have laid out blankets an pillows and hot chocolate and or brandy etc and even just once took a gal on a first date for such an event. One zero cost first date other then gas to get to a city light free location. First date under the stars - under blankets to keep warm.
Yep that was one hell of a fyne way to do a first date!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Showers in August are often the very best. The August Perseids, October Draconids and November South Taurids. Just looked up the next expected and its January Quadrantids, April Lyrids and July Delta Aquarids. Dang I never knew about anything of value after Perseids & Geminids.

The Perseids this year blew. Total waste of the night.

I R no expert on showers, just a lot of years going out to enjoy them. I notice from the web someone will say a shower was a no show or not much yet I had a blast with friends who lost count of how many in 3 minutes or so. So maybe it depends on where you are on Planet Earth. Well sure I know that is true but West Coast vs East Coast USA?
As much fun as they are they are also one of my worst nightmares re Satellites. The prep time to figure out how to orientate a Satellite for minimum damage. Do you turn the Panels 90 degrees away as to help protect them and end up loosing money making traffic because that change makes the Satellite useless for many hours. Do you just turn it so fuel tanks are more out of the way? AND of course micro particles from a storm do mess up solar panels and cut the life out of the beast.
Several Satellites from other companies are out of order as result. I am never free to really honestly discuss how bad this sorta thing is. Space junk is much worse a problem but at least NORAD is a major source of help but has failed big time recently and let a competitors Satellite Iridium crash into a Russian dead in Space Satellite. Total wipe out which was easy to avoid. Russian bird was a brand new Spy Satellite that never worked for one minute- If only they had let me have a go fixing it. er now I was not allowed to offer up help laffin.
