They didn't have the death penalty from 1972 to 1978. This is the only reason Charles Manson is still alive. Even though they brought it back in 1978, they won't execute him now, since they consider that double-jeopardy or some shit. So basically everyone on death row in 1972 essentially got a free pass. I doubt they'll ever get rid of it now.

We need more death, not less.

Here's the deal. If you do some really fucked up shit to people, like kill kids, or brutally kill some women or some shit, you need to die. I'd have no problem blasting you in the fucking face myself. And I don't even like to kill a fish (I catch and release or give the fish away).
So if someday you have kids and that kid is killed by some sick fuck, people like me will kill that sick fuck, and we won't feel bad about it.
I understand some people believe killing is never right, personally I feel like it's the right thing to do sometimes.

Can't fault this logic. Some people are just monsters.
But obviously there should be very strict conditions on wether someone gets it.

My personal opinion is that killing is sometimes justified in self-defence, or in the immediate defence of others, and oftentimes a necessary evil in the course of war (I have other opinions about this). Naturally, if anybody killed a family member of mine I would be emotional about it, and probably feel like I wanted them dead, at least for a while. But I just can't accept the idea of killing somebody as punishment for any crime, no matter how abhorrent.
