Topic: Do you close the bathroom door when you're alone?

I don't.
When my husband is out shopping, my kids are out at sports or friends, and when I'm home early ... I keep it open.
Why? It's a conscious decision, because weird as it sounds, shutting the door even when I'm all alone means I GIVE IN to fear.
You know, its the subconscious dread that someone other than me, my beloved husband or children are at home FOR me.
Waiting to pounce and attack when the time is right.
And what better time than someone helpless in the bathroom?
That is why when I keep the door open -- to train myself to be secure and not give in to irrational crippling fear.
How about you -- do you shut the bathroom door?
Is it a matter of habit?
Or do it out of worry about something (or someone) more sinister?
I don't blame you.
With troubled headlines in the news we perhaps have every reason to be anxious.
Increasing crime rate, escalating oil prices, an explosion of diseases this modern world isn't a very nice place, is it?
So... What's my secret for keeping the door open in this big bad scary world?
The reason that I do not suffer from anxiety or stress in a place of unpredictable circumstances?
Well, the technique is called Creative Visualization, but its not in the traditional way you been taught.

I close the door, because of... escalating oil prices...
