This really does happen quite often. Though generally the people doing so are either high as shit, coming down from being high as shit, or just mentally unstable and have not had meds in months.

When you're locked in a jail cell, with no drywall to punch, no one to kill, and no loose objects to kick or throw around, you'd be surprised what measures you'd take to vent your anger.

I've been royally pissed off, I've been mentally unstable, everything so much. And yet I will never ever do something with my pee or poop.
The most I've ever done is run the water 24 hours a day nonstop and that was all.
Oh and once I carved scratches into people's cars when I hated the world for a while back in 2001.
And all of it was due to neighbors. Revving motorcycles 20 hours every day a foot from my bedroom when I worked the graveyard shift. Neighbors upstairs with 50 people up there partying stomping nonstop and never sleeping or leaving. Neighbors with speakers larger than a 4'11" person that blasted all night and there were several off them while the downstairs had 5 people living in a studio apartment who chainsmoked (these were people around 20) and made my apartment above them unbreathable.
So I'm pretty much tolerant.
