That is the value of a UNIX based O/S
I still use a PC because of Clients demands, HowSomEver I have several Sun Solaris Work Stations and at least two of them usually have 32 OPEN Active fully working in display mode Windows - each showing massive amounts of information on the fly. Your Mac cannot do that. Suns run UNIX on a UNIX based server, but could almost do just as well on a Linux based server.
Adding that Clients contracts do not allow me to use a simple printer nor any software that is not on their approved list and I own the PC's I use for work with one or two exceptions depending on what they ship me for evaluation. (usually they ask for them back when I am through) but not always lol

Windows 7 is good enough for me, but Windows 7 with Pokki is fine, too.
