The Doctor Whos with the first two doctors were boring purely due to pacing. Gradually the pacing got better. The new series in the 2000s is fast paced and good. The only problems I found with it are when they keep bringing back the cybermen and daleks that have been so overused they just need to be gotten rid of permanently. I prefer star trek but I voted doctor who because it looks nicer that way
