Image went missingNext I'll give up coffee. Then I'll have reached the pinnacle of sobriety. I'll celebrate my success with a massive dose of mushrooms, because hey, fuck sobriety. Then in a few months I'll start smoking weed again, that's gonna be my reward for kicking every bad habit.

I will vape! I haven't touched the devil's weed in like 2 years. I had to clean up if I was ever gonna stop drinking my liver to death.

Leo Vegas has some experience with Ayahuasca. I think him and Fats were into it for a bit, then Fats lost a bunch of weight, got a girlfriend and hit out for Oregon. Supposedly it's pretty life changing shit. But I can't imagine it's too different from a heavy dose of shrooms - that's what helped me quit.

It's not about quitting coffee, it's about self-control. Besides, coffee is just another habit, I'll save money if nothing else.

ah ok. Balance its all about balance. Its good to not go out of control. Its also good to move the crayon over the edges on purpose once in a while.
Coffee keeps the brain alive so keep that in mind.

I don't want to stop drinking yet. The only reason I was going to stop was for my ex but I really said some things I shouldn't have said last night and now that's over :(

Back in my divorce days long ago. Needed a doc visit and doc asked me how I was doing. Said my Scotch intake had risen. He said it would pass. It did plus that divorce system can attempt to make you temporarily broker. I would look at new bottle of Scotch and look at wallet and realize my attorney was buying his new boat on my money. Drinking dropped and guess wot? Life did get one hell of a lot better but it takes a while to heal from a break up.

First and only time my drinking increased over a temporary bout of depression. Been gone a few days but when i was last here, *henn* you were drunk as a skunk. Text looks much less intoxicated.

I'm fine and I like to drink. The only person that can tell me anything is my doctor.

Most of this is pretty damned accurate. The important parts at least. Ayahuasca is similar in a lot of ways to high dose psylocibin. Either will help since you are going into the experience with the perfect mind-set. Mushrooms are my personal favorite as they have helped me the most. One year sobriety from alcohol was November 2nd. I'm not going to count anymore. FEELS GOOD.

Fats keep counting. I count my 10 mile days of running and actually rite it all down. Counts help keep one focused.

I'll check my calender periodically, but scratching off days feels too much like prison and keeps it always on my mind. I want to move forward with life with it behind me.

It's impossible to put drinking into perspective until you've quit. I'll never go back to the booze. If you ever need some fungi, hit me up.

Very true. I hate thinking about how long I stayed drunk. I even went to a doctor and had blood-work done to test my liver enzymes, blood sugar, and anything else I might have fucked up with alcohol. I told him I had quit, and that I smoke cigarettes and weed daily. He told me to quit smoking cigarettes and either eat my pot or at least filter it through water. That was in Florida too.

@369,464 (Fats !BBbudGf3kM)

Quitting smoking is REALLY hard if every single one of your friends does it too. I've tried quitting twice now and have failed both times.

The time temptation was strongest for me was when I was drinking with friends. That's what did me in. :/ CONGRATS though, 9 days is still a huge accomplishment. You should be proud! Keep it up!

I tried shrooms just once in Jamaica, at Hedonism II
Spent most of that evening with my GF staring at the hotel drapes, watching them turn into a cartoon show.

I keep wondering why I never tried them again?

I used to smoke pipes -now years since and I still miss it. I keep all those pipes I collected around but tossed the terbacco
