what > Just wondering about something. My 12 year old brother for the past few weeks has been taking our packages of scotch tape, ripping out long strands of tape, and then rolling them up into little tape-joints. Nothing inside them, just making a thin tube of tape, then smoking it like a cigarette. First of all, he says that this gets him high, which I feel is either a placebo or him just trying to look cool. Could this get a person high for real? Also, this this dangerous? Me and his mother have forced him to stop but in case he continues in secret I want to let him know that it is dangerous, if it is dangerous. http://www.reddit.com/r/Drugs/comments/13qqbd/%E0%B2%A0_%E0%B2%A0_little_brother_caught_smoking_scotch_tape/

When I was a kid we'd just get into some pot stash and smoke until we fell asleep. We were bad asses.
One time I got into my dad's stash while he was at work, smoked some roaches and then passed out. My grandpa came over not long after, me at 9 passed out from the dope, ha. I just said I wasn't feeling well. Kids are idiots, and my story isn't very entertaining.

> how would scotch tape even make you high
You might get high from lack of oxygen, like when you huff stuff. > can you even get high from a placebo
Well you can think you're high. I'm sure you've heard stories of kids acting drunk after drinking no alcohol.

I R Engineer so we Engineers defer to published toxicity information. Companies usually must file sets of documents to OSHA. For instance if a storage room loaded with (Tape) is on fire, the firefighters need to know whats up with smoke or explosion from (whatsoEver) is in room.
grrrrrrrr do NOT click on that link and expect results. Its r04r coding issue - to make it work copypasta the link in browser and add at end of url two dashes.

True story: when I was in middle school I took some weeds from the backyard (thistles, dandelions, who even knows lol) and toasted it in a toaster oven then got some friends to smoke it rolled in newspaper. They got a mad placebo high. I guess it was "weed" in the literal sense of the word.

So after 5 full fucking years+ No one not one simple minded person or personalities looked UP if the tape is toxic - Again caught with limited tyme but will try 4more better reply LATER - I leave ya all with this 30 second lookC
Is Scotch Tape Toxic?
Short answer: Not under normal usage.
The Scotch Brand Scotch tape was invented with a clear adhesive known as Cellophane. Cellophane is known as a transparent thin sheet made up of regenerating cellulose.
The best thing about cellulose is it is found in plant cell walls and vegetable fibers such as cotton.
It is the polysaccharide that consists of chains of the glucose monomers. Scotch tape is one of the most non-toxic and green living tape available.
There is one part of Scotch tape that is toxic however and that is the adhesive
The creation process of cellophane is not toxic.
Overall Scotch Tape is one of the best tapes on the market, so ideal for household use and schools.

the intake holding cell..
we smoked Skoal joints..
you line up...and when it's your turn to hit it you have to hold it down in the steel toilet...and a good bit of the smoke will drift into the plumbing..
